BANDIT - Old Bandon Golf Links Sheep Dog

Bandit is a Border Collie.  He is just over one year old.  There is no life like the life of a golf course dog!

Bandit's natural instincts made him think of our golf carts and mowers as sheep, which can be a little dangerous!  Many golfers have commented on his speed and expressed concern about him getting too close to equipment, and we concur.

At one year he was ready to "apply" to sheep dog school.  He was accepted to "boarding school" mid-April.  When he returns, we will bring about 8 sheep with him to manage on the golf course as part of our agonomy as well as his entertainment. 

Below is a link to his training video sent from his first 2 weeks at school.  May 11, 2010, the trainer/narrator states that "by tomorrow, this video will be obsolete," referring to how fast he is learning.  Enjoy!
