Time to Move On

2012 will likely be our last season here.  The course has been listed for sale by the owners, and they would be very happy to continue to lease the course and clubhouse in the interim.

We have been leasing OBGL, the former Face Rock GC, since 2009.  Gross sales have increased 42% since that first year.  There is definitely a place in our area for every type of golf course!

Bandon will continue to grow and continue to be the golf mecca that it has become.  Families and retirees continue to relocate to Bandon.  Our tourism is very strong in the summer with folks who enjoy crabbing, fishing, beachcombing -- and golf -- all in one day.  The only way to achieve that is with a 9-hole round at OBGL, complete in 1.5 hours and fun for the entire family, with affordable rates and excellent conditioning, and a replay available throughout the day.

Troy prefers to build the big courses and has his eye on several projects that look promising.  We love Bandon, but it is looking like it may be time to move on.  We stayed here while my father had relocated from the Seattle area to Assisted Living in Bandon.  However, now that he has passed, it is time to pursue new challenges.
